形態特徵

Herbs, covered with septate hairs, to 50 cm tall; stems square, minutely hairy.
Leaves petiolate; petiole glabrous or very sparsely and minutely hairy, 1–1.5 cm long; blades elliptic to ovate, base cuneate to obtuse, apex acute, margins remotely serrate, nearly entire near base, both surfaces glabrous, glandular-dotted, 3–5 cm long, 1.5–2 cm wide.
Inflorescences verticillate cymes, forming loose terminal racemes, to 15 cm long; bracteoles elliptic, minutely hairy on margins, 4–6 mm long, 1–2 mm wide. Flowers pedicellate; pedicels minutely hairy, 2–3 mm long; calyx campanulate, glandular dotted, puberulent at base, long-hairy inside, upper lip very broadly ovate, acute, lower lip 4-toothed, 2 lateral teeth broadly triangular, 2 lower teeth triangular; corolla tubular, tube glabrous, limb bilabiate, minutely hairy outside, upper lip 4-lobed, lobes ovate, lower lip obovate, concave.
Nutlets ellipsoid, ca. 1.5 mm long.
